Fresh organic vegetables for our neighbors

In 2015, the Community Garden School – Riverwest undertook to transform the Clarke Street PEACE Garden to a production garden. In the summer of 2016, we offered CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares to our neighbors.

We are also teaching urban farmers to grow their own vegetables, and innovative ways to market their crops. Urban agriculture is a rapidly evolving field, and we are experimenting with the newest approaches to growing food in the city.

In the summer of 2017, we plan to offer more CSA shares, as well as selling more vegetables from our main site at Clarke and Bremen Streets in the heart of the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
